NEWS!!! (: / Sad News... :/

Just writing a journal since I haven't done so for a bit. I've been busy moving into my Mom's house and everything and my life has been busier and busier and it soon will be even more in two months. I'm starting volunteer work at the Humane Society here in West Allis. The orientation/training is on January 13th, 2010. I'm excited because I love helping and caring for animals but then again, nervous since I've never done this before. It'll be a good experience and a challenge for me. I've gone through a lot in my life with my mother and father's divorce and I've been becoming stronger emotionally and physically. I don't let anyone control me unless it's a serious situation, etc.

I hope everyone's Thanksgiving and Christmas goes well. I might be getting a Flip MinoHD for X-mas from my father and then small gifts from Mom. ^^ I normally don't care for gifts...I just like the family gatherings and spending time with close ones around me. Yet, gifts are still nice, too.
~
I've been applying for jobs and none have replied back to me yet for some reason. I've had one job before only, so maybe that's why? I need more experience...After a certain amount of time at the Humane Society you can get hired as an actual worker and get paid there. So, hopefully I'll be good enough for that and I probably will.

I have created a new deviantART for just my photography so all of my other deviations on here could get more appreciation. I'll have the link some where for my new photography account.

The Sad News:

On February 16th, 2010, I'm getting back surgery in the morning at Children's Hospital in the Milwaukee Area. I'm so scared...I hate having Scoliosis(when you have a curve in your spine), because I get back pains and the degree is over the limit and I do need the surgery now. I'm just frighted of dying; but everyone's like that. Dr. Black says he'll be with me every step of the way since he's the one performing the surgery. I'll have titanium rods in my spine to straighten it out. I'll be in recovery at home for 3 to 4 months after the surgery and then 4 days in the hospital right after the surgery. I'm going to be on liquid pain medication because of my small throat due to the cleft pallet(born without a roof of the mouth). Wish me luck and safe recovery, everyone...
